Celebrate Jazz. Support the Future.

Plant Based, a dynamic jazz-pop ensemble from Utah, is led by brothers Jaron and Ethan Wunder. Despite their youth, the band has already performed on some of the world’s most iconic stages, including the streets of New Orleans, the Telluride Jazz Festival in Colorado, WWII commemoration events in Normandy, resorts in Mexico, and venues in San Francisco and New York City. At home, members are featured in groups such as Caleb Chapman’s Soundhouse and the MountainTop Music Institute, bringing their high-energy blend of jazz, 80s favorites, and rock classics to stages like the Eccles Theater and Sandy Amphitheater.

Joining them at Vic’s are Charles and Jun Hong, 14-year-old twin pianists from Las Vegas and freshmen at Clark High School. With over five years of study, they perform both as soloists and as a piano duo, their twin bond adding a unique spark to every performance. Inspired early on by Chopin’s music through the anime Forest of Piano, they cultivated a love for classical repertoire while expanding into jazz. For the past four years, the Hong twins have been core performers in the Youth for Youth Holiday Concert, helping raise over $100,000 for youth charities in Las Vegas. They also regularly share their music at senior homes and community events, collaborating with fellow young musicians to spread the joy and transformative power of live performance.

Plant Based and the Hong twins will also be performing at this year’s Youth for Youth Holiday Concert at Clark High School on November 29th at 3:00 pm, raising funds for The Just One Project.
